Women Expressing Climate Grief

>> UN Women's Events, March 2022 <<

Unhealed grief, fear, and anger about the climate emergency affect women activists’ initiative and our hope for the future.

Our unexpressed emotions interfere with our ability to bring our intelligence and energy to effectively respond to the climate crisis, racism, genocide and exploitation.

The opportunity to openly feel and express these emotions can unleash our initiative and thinking to be able to more effectively address the climate crisis.

In this parallel event, participants learn tools for healing that they can share with others that increase resilience, prevent burnout, and reclaim initiative and energy to effectively respond to the climate crisis.
