SAL’s Parent Organization: Re‑evaluation Counseling

Re-evaluation Counseling (Co-Counseling or RC) is a theory and practice that people of all ages and all backgrounds can use to help free themselves and each other from the effects of past hurtful experiences.  Co-Counseling is practiced in pairs, by people listening to each other and assisting one another to release painful emotions.  This natural process heals old hurts and enables people to think better, speak out, and organize and lead others in building a world where all life forms are valued and the environment is restored and preserved.

Re-evaluation Counseling is organized into what we call RC Communities. RC Communities can be found in more than 100 countries. They offer classes, support groups, workshops, and webinars on the theory and practice of RC.

The RC Communities have goals to guide our work.  One of our goals is the Unified Goal on the Climate. You can find the text of it here.
