How to Lead Listening Circles

In order to address the climate emergency, we have chosen to step outside our comfort zone and take action. This means that we also have to handle our own feelings and the feelings of others regarding the issues related to the climate emergency. This can evoke strong and often painful emotions. Releasing these emotions helps us to think more clearly, be more effective, and feel more connected to others. Listening Circles enable all participants to share their thoughts and feelings in a confidential and supportive group setting. When people are listened to by someone with a friendly, warm and non-judgemental attitude, they are able to review their thinking, express how they are feeling and release feelings that interfere with their thinking and actions.

In this workshop, we will discuss how to lead effective listening circles within our groups and organisations.
