Join us for a subversive catwalk and discussion on the impact of fast fashion on women and the environment.
There will be a subversive catwalk featuring clothes that women artists have made in response to the climate crisis. There will be a short artist-made film then the opportunity to listen and talk about how women are affected by fast fashion across the world, those who wear the clothes and those who make them. Facing the reality of how fast fashion affects climate breakdown brings up many painful feelings. Learning how to listen effectively to each other as we face and talk about how fast fashion has affected us is an important “action” towards freeing our minds and acting more decisively in building unity to end the climate crisis.
