Climate is on the Ballot: Organizing Together in the Swing States
Voting can be a powerful tactic in our movements for climate justice and social change. But many people feel discouraged about its impact and are reluctant to mobilize for candidates who do not share their values completely. In this workshop, we will share the tools and experience of Sustaining All Life to enhance the work of climate activists and to invite people to reclaim voting as a powerful social change tactic, especially in the swing states that will determine the outcome of the US presidential election.

In this workshop we will:
Create safe spaces to talk, listen and support each other
Share stories and strategies for effectively engaging people in the electoral process and in social change movements more broadly
Introduce practices and tools that participants can take with them to maintain their sense of hope, excitement and determination around defending the climate and expanding democracy
