In this interactive, fun workshop we will:
explore the massive impact of the overconsumption and overproduction of clothing
-experience a Subversive Catwalk of up-cycled, message-adorned clothing
-have opportunities to listen and be listened to about what this means for us personally and for the planet
-see ‘a:dress’, a short film featuring women artists who use creativity to take on the issues of fast fashion, sexism, racism, and climate justice
Join us in this workshop and explore what we can do as women to make change and reclaim our ability to think clearly outside of the artificial limitations imposed by sexism.
Working together across race, class and age, we CAN make a difference.
