Sustaining All Life will be attending London Climate Action Week in person.
Join us for a 90minute workshop, ‘What’s Sexism Got to Do with Climate? ‘, led by Erin Mansell and Gale Burns, exploring how the climate crisis affects women and girls, and how listening exchanges can strengthen and sustain our organising. Our panellists will discuss the links between climate breakdown and sexism, including the role men can play as allies. Participants will also have the chance to share experiences and practise listening together.
When women and girls build alliances across our differences—and when men commit to being dependable allies—we become a powerful force for ending climate devastation. As caregivers, resource stewards, and community leaders, we hold essential knowledge. Listening to one another helps us heal from sexism and other oppressions, and deepens our capacity to act collectively.
Sustaining All Life is a global organisation supporting people and groups working to end the climate crisis by offering tools to address emotional barriers to effective organising.
